I'm sure they had their reasons, but it doesn't make it any less retarded. A retard might have down's syndrome, but he's still retarded.

You must suck, because the brakes on a 2002 Jetta are about as simple as it gets. That "sensor" on the brakes is there as a wear sensor, and it is just a circuit that needs to be completed, either hook it to the pads sensor or just hook it to itself.

I think it took me <1.5 hours to do all 4 wheels on my MK IV, LOL.

krautcars raced around by emo kids are like children of the corn. nothing a large woodchipper can't handle.

so my fellings on a vw is why the ---- did the have to make the civic hatch in the commerical so ricey and then smash it like that was its closest competitor? sad they had to go back few gen to come up with a compeling argument. im with the O.P. gayest emo driven fag mobiles ever.

but the original bug that was air/water tight and could float as long as no one broke the bake and that could have a motor swap done in a few sec. is some bad ass ---- right there. no honda that i know of can have a swap done in seconds and drive a few feet on national tv. only respect ill give the vdubers(someone find tht vid)

Woo, just R&R'd a trans on a 96 VW Eurovan. Pretty much any VW up to the very early 90's is very simple to work on, but after that, they are a ------- nightmare!

Jetta_2.slow 04-09-2009 02:27 PM

my mk3 is easy to work on, the only real thing that puzzled me was that I could not get my oil pan off and later realized there were 2 hidden bolts, I had forgot to take out. I felt like a loser trying to pry the pan off just my input.

VW's eletrical systems have been an epic fail since the late 70's!

^I agree with him, Yea I like VW but they do have a bad electrical problems.
