I got 24mpg in my turbo GSR. I get 19 in my Mustang now.

I said compare apples to apples. I know you republicans don't pay attention to reality but you need to compare 2 similar items to get an accurate comparion. Plus I love how your arguement changes from "Mustangs are so much more expensive to buy the car" to "Mustangs don't hold any value and are cheap as ----"

theres pro's and con's to both kinds of cars...gas mileage is not always easy in a v8 im not sure how your getting so good gas milage. but if you ask most v8 owners they will man up and admit they are not getting the best gas milage. ie a stock crown vic with the same motor as the mustangs 4.6 v8 gets about 16-18 around town and at best 22 on highway. i would like to know what makes your mustang so much better? sence you never tell us. value on a car. it all depends on who you are. do you like power everything? do you like a nice paint job? do you like everything in working order? well for both cars they can get expensive. and no matter what car you buy if you like it your going to put some money in it. you can always pick up a cheap mustang that doesnt look that great and do some mods and make it run easy 13's but you can do the same to a civic with all motor if you jsut spend a little money on traction but thats why you got a no options light car. about the 9's we are everyones doing at the track. so far i havent seen anyone hit 9's here(correct me if im wrong) but we all are trying to make are cars faster with turbos. about being a cheap 9 sec car. how long is your car going to run 9's before rebuilding the motor or switching it out for different one. remember being extremly fast and reliable and cheap doesnt really mix that well. and again everyone has there reasons for why they got there car. maybe they found a nice deal on it(not everyone can find these sweet deals where they pick up a nice car for under 2000 or get a really good deal). some people like mustangs because its a known as a faster and sporty car. some people like there imports because there usually lighter and have maybe a look that they like. and both cars can be upgraded easily to go faster. im not sure how many tuners/tuning options compared to the import land mustangs have but some people like the fact that theres a vast sea of options for reasonable price they can tune there car with there turbo or upgrades. i guess its going to be fun when everyone meets up at this meet and then we will see how everyone respects each others cars for what they are. it would be nice to see what everyone is really running compared to each other with same track conditions and weather and elevations there will be no excuses. LETS RACE
