well we barely even looked at the bike when we picked it up, so we didnt notice that i was air cooled till we got home.

got the motor in and running yesterday and tried messing with the carbs today, but it still doesnt want to run right. replaced the spark plugs, and cleaned the points and it helped alot. next up is all cosmetic. black on black with black drag bars and a custom chopped fender. should look hot when we are done. the back end is ghetto slammed with cut springs like we did in the 90s lol.

Ok flash a couple months later and the cx500 is just waiting on a new exhaust (Didn't want to post a pic of the ugly thing thats on there now) and inspection, registration and insurance and its done. The cb750 is just about done now too. Still gotta fab up some side covers and get the carbs tuned to run tight. Put on the front brake and rebuild gthe master cylinder.

cb750 the day we picked it up. its been sitting a while.

and an after shot the way she sits now. Runs good at idle and under no load, but isn't driveable just yet.

both bikes just washed and cleaned up.

Sitting in front of my mean *** driveway.

I let my friend do the paint on this one since it is his bike. It was his first paint job that wasn't out of a rattlecan, and im really surprised how good it came out. Looks damn good. The bike is lowered about 3 inches in the rear, supposed to sit up where mine does, but he has really short legs so it fits him well. overall, im really happy with how they turned out. Its been fun working on them, and now we get to just go out and ride them.

nice i like how you guys painted the exaust on the cb750, both bikes are looking good. i traded my cb500t for a basically brand new 26 gallon air compressor, 50 ft of hose, and air tools. didnt feel like trying to fix all the bad cables and mess the last guy took apart. i started to but noticed there was a lot of missing parts, and needed new cables. Duel throttle cable, clutch cable, and a missing break line/parts. i only payed a 100$ for it so i made out like a bandit. been looking for another cheap old bike but really havent found anything that i like. looking good, and good luck on getting them running better

the cx 500 works perfect, rides like a dream. The 750 likes to overchoke/underchoke itself all the time, makes it really hard to ride. But it has been ridden up and down the street a couple times now. Its got some pep to it.

Its a 78 cb750. Bought it for 700 i think, or 500 maybe.... i don't remember. Probably got another 200 in parts including the paintjob. Yeah that bike is pretty bad ***. I rode it around today, pretty fun. Kinda scary not having a front brake. I don't use it much, but its nice to know its there when i want it.
