Re: Twin Turbo HoTTness inside **NWS**

I've only drove it twice before the clutch cable fried. I have been working bugs out too. I boosted it once in 2nd and saw 10 lbs (Less than a second of throttle). The gates are set around 16 or so I was told when I bought them. I am putting the new cable in today and I have to get exhaust this coming weekend.

I will dyno it for WOT tuning purposes after all the bugs are worked out and it's street/part throttle tuned. I am not really concerned with numbers. I am only concerned with track results. I have a wideband and EGT in the car, so the only reason I will be going to the dyno is safety. There not too many places to make 165 mph pulls repeatedly around here.

i am just interested to see where ur boost will kick in etc. because i am planning on building a SBC powered fox soon and i have considered a TT setup as well as a single turbo setup so hopefully your car will help me make my decision

I chose the twin setup for that reason. This a street car first. I didn't want some 91mm top end monster that took forever to spool. Especially with my car being a 5 speed. The two 67s will make similar power and have a much better power curve. It costs more, but worth it in my opinion. FWIW, when I stood on it in 2nd, it made boost almost instantly. I was already above 3000 RPM though. I'll post up more results as I have them.

the car i plan on building i also want for the street first also,

i would like to be able to almost daily drive it.

i like the idea of the TT inter cooler setup, my only thing would be longevity of the setup, and could u really actually drive the car and get caught in traffic and not worry about engine temps

i am hopefully going to sell my camaro and buy a rolling notch, purchase everything for the engine and then see if i have the $ for a single or twin turbos

I don't see why not. I have an electric waterpump, 3 row radiator and twin 3000+ cfm electric fans. I'm sure a lesser system could still idle in traffic no problem.
