the 2.0T isn't all that bad, it's a little slow in the aftermarket, partially because of a 1pc manifold/exhaust housing. im partial to my 20v gti. is your wifes car dropped a couple inches?

no doubt. ill be the first to admit that most dubs aren't worth going balls out on. i do like the simple mods that you can get out of the gate to help outrun their japanese/american counterparts with ease.
