6900 for buying brand new parts is not bad at all, I'm sure he's factoring all the little BS parts that people always omit when building their "500$" turbo kits.

Correct. That was every last nut and bolt.

You can get a complete B&G single kit for $2850. That is FMIC, MP T70, hot/cold sides, oil lines, fittings, etc. That will be good to 700 flywheel hp or so.

that is a cool kit, but i think if i go single turbo i will not run a fmic because it will cause the turbo to spool higher than i want it to but i will defentely research that kit more and see if it will work well with my setup

This guy has a stock as a rock '93 GT with the B&G T70 kit. Notice the 375 ft lbs of torque by 2500 RPMs and the 500 ft lbs by 3500 RPMs. ;)

I would be willing to bet that the benifit of hte FMIC would out weight he spool time but I stand corrected I guess on price. I guess if its all name brand parts and all done as a complete kit not to bad. but damn 7 k for boost? Baller status right there.

It's not JUST for boost. This isn't somebody's civic with a used turbo on it.

nice setup and that chick took a lot of protein there.

the 2.0T isn't all that bad, it's a little slow in the aftermarket, partially because of a 1pc manifold/exhaust housing. im partial to my 20v gti. is your wifes car dropped a couple inches?

Did you look ast the fastest car thread? Pretty pathetic for the most part. He lumped my car in with someone who was just looking to have a boosted car. He's obviously helplessly trapped in a paradigm of eternal slowness.
