I know the boost will always be there, my motor i'm building is not even in the car yet, as for saving up, thats going to be hard bro, i'm a college student, I dont make much money, i'm looking to do what every other guy in here is, and thats a cheap but good setup. in total this build is gonna cost me about 1200 estimated, thats alot of money for most students to dish out, unfortunetly I dont have mommy and daddy behind me on this one.

hehe, I did this on a college student's budget too man, I've been in the same boat as you. I've learned that if I can save up $1200 in a year, I can save up $1500 in a year and 3 months you know? and those 3 months are worth it to build a motor correctly instead of half assing it.

I dont consider vitara pistons half ***, lol, its better than stock. I was talking to craig, he still wants to try it, he said something about a 1 or 2 mm difference, either way, I have talked to some of the guys on D-series.org and they dont seem to have any problems with them, if I can come across some more cash before I make up my mind, i'll get forged.

Craig, Are thoes rods available for the D16Z6, I thought A6 would work on a Z6 crank, but they wont, Z6 crank and rod is much beefier than A6. let me know, cuz I need them for the Z6.

Nope, I just tried to fit a A6 rod on my Z6 crank, the A6 rod is significantly narrower where it mounths to the crank, it wouldnt fit over the crank, and thats without the bearings.

So I hope thoes rods are available for the Z6.
