I can't help but laugh at this thread.... I honestly have never had anything but compliments about my car...the worst said was "nice work but its not my thing" type of phrase.
Its an ongoing thing between "imports" and "domestics" and its a sterotype about the driver opposed to the style of car typically.
There are just as many dumbasses talking ---- about crapaliers and sunflowers as there are in any other kind of vehicle.
If you turbo your vehicle and do your own work generally its accepted by anyone who is not completly bias.
I do have to agree though, this site has about the best mutual appreciation that I've ever seen, part of why I enjoy it so much here.

Alot of people hate white people including the United States of America, Supreme Court rulings tell me it's true. no I'm not talking about the black civil rights ones, I'm talking about the affirmative action ones that say I can score higher on a test than someone of another race and still not get a scholarship because I was born the wrong race.
