I aGREE very pricey rods. I say you came out okay. But that notch is a little weird. Is it just one notched? In the first pic it looks like the 4th one may be notched, but you put it on that foam so it could be misleading. Take it to a machine shop and see if it all checks out. If it does, you def came out on top, if not, it's an ehhh transaction, but still good.

ok there numbered A1-A4. 3 and 4 have little holes in them and A-1 - 2 don't. I was woundering about it myself. The guy said the rods checked out and theres no bend/pits/scars on the rods. just the surface rust. Think i should call pauter on this or what. Need more pics?

in the first pic, the third from the left looks like it's got a gaping chunk missing let's see some more pics, i think you may have been the one not knowing what was going on :1

Where are you guys seeing all the chips and crap. The rod in the second picture has a piece of the foam hanging over the small end, other than that I don't see what you people could be seeing .

Yes the 2nd pic is just where i have the rod pushed in a little to take the pic. Anyone sellin any 9:5:1 slugs?
