For some reason last year I owed like 50 bucks.. which was mindblowing. I usually get 5-700 back. last year i made around 23k.. this year i'm right at 20k.. I bought a house last year, but I didn't think that would have fucked my refund.

You should be able to write-off the interest you paid on the house. How many dependents are you claiming? Did that change from last year?

Corporations and individual people are not the same entity. 1-2 million in a business is not a big business. Local restaurants cost that much after all is said and done.

boosty if you think buying a house right now is a good "investment then your mistaken, if you are just arguing that buying a house and paying lets say, 800/mo and owning the place as opposed to paying 800/mo for a rent on someting you dont own is a good idea then your right. buying houses now as an investment is a terrible idea.
