my turbo sohc had forged pistons and it was 11:1 or higher compression, the pistons didnt melt, even running BBKA's bin, which is for a stock honda, and running nearly 17-20 psi of boost. The only problem was the headgasket kept blowing.

baldur, i respect your knowledge... but again I'm not arguing with some internet dweller over who's smarter. I posted this up because I'm confident in my abilities and I think this is a sweet build up. So enjoy, or shut up and build something better.

good job...good luck with it. def break out the race gas. you should be good to go with your setup. 10:1 will be a little tricky, but high boost will be track duty anyway with racegas like you said.
my boy's ls/vtec 9:1 i tuned out to 515whp has gone under the knife and i'll be retuning it tomorrow with a new custom better flowing manifold, 1000cc inj, new turbo (his last one self destructed/compressor shaft sheared off). originally he wanted to step up to 5 bar, but decided to stay 3 bar. he's going to want me to tune racegas around 28psi...this will be the last car of the evening tomorrow.

Nobody's arguing.
And scottsi, you know that the head gasket often works like a fuse for the pistons. The pistons rarely break if the head gasket goes first.
