why would you give a 300hp boosted civic to a 16yo? i wouldnt have been responsible with a car like that when i was 16... and besides the car not getting done this car has nothing to do with camo, except that its had half a dozen paint colors in its life.

Put in a little work last week. It just can't seem to warm up here, any warm days we've had I've been working and on my days off we get cold shitty weather...I'm just holding off for a nice stretch of weather (50-60* for a week) before I start busting my *** on the body work.
Last week I drove it out into the driveway and swept out part of the garage. Filled two garbage bags with paint dust and sand paper (mostly from the initial paint stripping).
I finally broke down and took off the door so I could block it without sitting on a milk crate and hunching over. I'll pull the other door off to work on it when this one is ready.

First of all the car would get done because I would finish it because it would be my car he would just drive it. As for what does military green have to do with camo.....hmmmm I wonder? As for a 300hp car being driven by a 16 year old...Do you build a 300hp car to do speed limit everywhere and never race? Cause if you do then that is your deal however my brother is different. He wants a street/strip car so he can take it to high school drags an open track cars. So yeah I will hand a 300hp car to my brother because he isn't like most 16 year olds. He understands he can just beat on a car constantly. Thats what the track is for.

it wouldn't be a 16 year old. it would be a 20 year old who works on cars for a living. It would just be driven by a 16 year old but whatever either way it doesn't matter. Like I said before I meant that he assumed that it is a 16 year old kid who will beat the car to hell, not respect it at all and let it fall apart underneath him basically where as my brother is far from that person. Thats all I was saying ---- if it bothers you that much sell it to me I will give my brother my car I'll drive the 300 hp hatch. lol But it doesn't matter he just said he refuses to drive any car but a 95-00 Prelude for his first car.

as for giving the car to a 16y/o... it wont matter, the kid will be like 23 when this build is done seriously though, i had to check to see if i was a member when this thread started, and i was... so i read through the whole thread, it looks like a sweet project and is coming along nicely (albeit slowly)
