My second gear does the exact same thing -- Under decel, right hand cornering @ nuetral throttle, and light shifts. Thank god, though, it never fails when I really need it, i.e. slamming shifts @ redline. Long live the d16z6 tranny.

What fluid is in the trans? A thicker fluid will help but mechanically the tranny is goin south.

anytime your tranny does any of those things mentioned it means that your tranny is going out. i would definatley look into getting another one ASAP
