Pics of JHill's Hybrid CRX
Just got back from Jim's house tonite, and he let me take a few snaps of his car, thought I might share..
first off this is a shot at spokane in Oct. (BMW Race School)
He is running:
JDM B16A engine/YS1 LSD transmission
Proflow Design Throttle Body
4-2-1 Header
Custom 2 1/4" Exhaust, with High Flow Catalytic Converter
Programmable Engine Management System/Wideband O2 Sensor
Less Interior
ACT clutch
HASport Motor Mounts
Axis Wheels
AEM EMS Engine management, basically a standalone system. Full OBD0 to OBD1 conversion was done.
best run
13.71 at 99.9MPH and yes, with a STOCK AIRBOX! haha,
Jim is currently installing a SCCA approved 6 point roll cage for road racing in his crx (note: the duct tape)
Gotta take care of the sponsers!
Oh baby.... someday he will finish these badboys!

Re:Pics of JHill's Hybrid CRX
Cool post Jeff! Thanks. The cage is kind of like a puzzle to get installed. I keep having to undo it and reposition it to get things to line up right before I tack weld it together.
I put the ECU cover back in so that my instructor at the drivers school would have a place to put his feet without worrying about those studs sticking up. It's gone now as I am stripping all the weight that I can legally and safely under the Honda Challenge and ICSCC/SCCA/NASA rules.
I really can't wait to go out on the track with it.
