Out of the turbo honda game. '77 Celica. mini muscle

I bought a '77 toyota celica. I haven't been more stoked on spending $250 in a long time. :6

The longterm goal is mini muscle car. Combining hot rod and jap style.

The good:
The body panels are all straight, all the glass is good, and the lights and signals are good. Doors and windows all work. It has a 20r engine with good compression, hopefully I can sell that.
The bad. Some rust issues in rear quater panel and trunk lid. Both of the bumpers are dented.

I may just use this car for parts, and find a shell with out rust. It's really hard to find replacement glass, trim, lights and whatnot, so just having all that is worth it. It'll be good to have a car to test fit on.

I have a line on a lexus ls400 engine, and a supra r154 tranny for pretty decent prices.

There was a local kid here with an old Celica like that that had a 2.3t Mustang engine in it. Good luck, nice find :)
