I hope you're kidding. :-X I'm not up on my "kits", but that is the ------- retarded. Link?

the only downside i can see is that if you want to do anything with the turbo or manifold you might have to drain the oil... well you could jsut unhook it from the turbo and leave it on there prop'd up

That's the only downside you can see? You don't think the oil not draining properly is going to be a problem? ??? I can't believe they actually use that type of drain. These people actually did research on the subject and that is what they came up with? :-\

Yeah, because if someone did it that means it's fine.

Are you serious?

You do realize the oil drain is gravity fed and if the return line is sitting below the oil level it won't drain?Does that seem like it would be a good idea to you? :-\

The only reason I can see this being a good idea is on the ease of install and the products apperance to the buyer. Now it really is just a bolt-on kit which even the most retarded person can install it since there is no taking off the oil pan, no welding, just bolt-on and go. That makes it look like a better product from the uneducated consumers view point. That doesn't mean it's a good idea from an educated consumers view point.

That's something I never understood about oil drains, why is it only gravity fed? If you've got 50psi of oil pressure going into the turbo, and the turbo is enclosed, shouldn't it force oil out at 50 psi?

That's funny. If "Edelbrock" started selling turbo whistle tips would you buy one? What about alteezas?

BTW, I didn't find that part on Edelbrocks website.

gee i would jsut love exhaust being vented out just infornt of my GAS TANK.. ::) Im not sure they planned it out very well. i bet it has an oil sump in the car or something pumping the oil back to the engine or hell its own oil supply. looks like that camaro from not too long ago, too bad it wouldent bosot too much you would haveto set the tubo to 30 psi just to get 10 back to the motor ::)
