im with him. also when i was working in the GM quick lube, this kid i was working with did a oil change on a Ford Probe and he never tightened the oil filter all the way, and it was on crooked too, so when he started driving away, it shot off and there was oil all over the the place.

As a previous Manager at a Jiffy Lube, I can safely say I, along with any of the crews I worked with, NEVER PULLED THIS KINDA ----.

Quicky lubes are a joke, but because of people like this, it only helps the negative image.

if you want it done RIGHT do it yourself. Abaz, yeah they switched from the regular big can oil filters to the little ones and discontinued the bigger ones (Ghey). The big style filters had more filter area than any other leading filter (its actually been verified). I run either a honda or a hastings filter and mobil 1 or conventional, depends what i got. Even so i change it at like 2500 miles.

I use nothing but PureOne filters.

They flow great and pick out the tiniest particles.

I use Castrol and usually the fram filter. I know the blue honda one is mad rare jdm, but I just don't care to drive to the dealership.
Lately I don't do oil changes though. My hatchback eats oil like a ----------er, and I thought all the smoke from the car was just cause it was cold outside. Now I just ADD oil, but I don't change it. And even the last couple times I did change the oil, I didn't do the filter becasue I only have a honda jack.
