Yeah I don't get the oil there, just a filter and they give me the oil plug washer with it. I think they're like $6-7 dollars.

I think honda actually changed the style of their oil filters recently? someone correct me if I'm wrong but about 2 years ago almost all hondas used the same style filter, the fat one has been replaced with a skinnier one.

I think retail they run about 7-8 bucks?

i use mobil 1 filters, along with 4qts of mobil 1 5w 30,

i had been using the frams with the rubber grip, but i found a channel locks that i can fit in there to get the filters off so i use that now.

i noticed my oil seems to be cleaner compared to when i used the fram but that could just be a mind trick. shrug.

a new bolt and gasket from honda is 1.67 at least at my stealership. next time im in there im going to buy like 10, so i dont have to go back,

to the guy that asked about replacing the washer, its aluminum when you crank down on the bolt it digs into the alumninum and its no longer flat, i didnt notice this until i started leaking oil at my pan, then the next time i changed my oil i discovered it, so from now on i will use new washers.

Haha, I broght my Integra to a Sprint Lube ONCE because it was cold as hell out and it needed an oil change. The little fockers didn't tighten the oil drain plug all the way and it leaked oil all over my driveway until I craweled under to find out WTF was going on. That was the 1 and ony time I've ever had and will ever have someone else work on my car. Thats what I get I guess.
