i went 11.43 @ 127 in a 2700lb car, at 25lbs of boost...i would have went faster but i got booted for going faster than 11.49 without a cage. i was running high 11's at 20psi hahaaha! :6 Wish i had slicks for it... And i wasn't used to the unsprung clutch launching... i'd always break em loose. The ------ unsprung would just GRIP... no slip at all to go in easy... 2nd gear had no traction either :3 I think i remember my 60' were like 2.0 - 2.1's :-[ and Chiovnidca ... I got that B mani from a guy in lower Mass in return for helpin him install a clutch. :y |

Re: The Official HMT's Fastest Cars thread
We just got back from Mission Raceway in Mission BC, Canada.
First 2 runs were a consistant 13.2@ 116mph last run before we cracked a sleeve in the block was a 12.94@117mph 60ft times sucked balls with a 2.2 and a 2.1 the first 2 runs and 1.9 the last run. we'll prolly be back out there in about a month with a new block and slicks. |
Re: The Official HMT's Fastest Cars thread
Best 60', best 1/8th, best 1/4 and best trap, all wrapped up in one!
Two good runs, both breaking old personal records 60' 1.792 1.776 1/8th 8.078 8.024 mph 84.63 86.01 1/4 12.521 12.565 mph 112.26 109.90 By the end of the night, I was pushing 28ish psi, and the clutch was giving up in 4th gear. The 109 mph run, I had to let up on the gas twice in 4th. :( I have the power to go faster, but not a pressure plate to hold it. Drove it home happy, even with the weird three cylinder miss back, haha. This was at PIR (Portland International Raceway) |

Re: The Official HMT's Fastest Cars thread
I've never tried the preloading thing, and I needed to this time since I was using the bigger slicks, and I had to drive the car about 150 miles back home after racing. Excuses, excuses... :P
