The HMT NW crew has been a very big help so far, yea I have donated the most in parts/car and time. But Beau/Dave/Steve/Dustin/Ted/Mike have donated parts and put in some hard work (not to mention drinking lots of beer). The only problem with this now is that I need a time, so I know when to cordinate the rest of this build. I have no problem taking multiple days off since my schedual is very flexible. In the last 2 days I havent even touched the car and have been out enjoying the nice weather on the boat. I must say being on the boat > vs building a low budget race car in my garage with hand tools.
I'm sure chris feels bad as it is, nobody needs to jump his ----.. But he may get a few Am drunken calls from us
It's real simple, we just want a race.. I dont build drag race cars, and I only built this car for 1 reason so I would like to use it atleast once before this project goes **** up. I'm 0-2 in the racecar/high hp builds (of my own) so I'd like to make this happen. I think the NE crew needs to pull together and really give chris a hand.

i wish i could have amde it to the shop the other weekend to drop off the parts i was going to bring but i got into a car accident and totalled my truck (old lady tboned me 
)

The NE Crew has pulled togdther a lot, just not quick enough to overcome the work the chassis needs. For the record I want a race. PS Dave needs to be the next NE Crew Prime Minister.

im sorry i let ne crew down.. my original plan was to donate a thousand dollars way early on at the start of the build.. then i had bills.. then i got into a car accident.. and then all this other little ---- popped up.. then i said id be willing to use my tow dolly.. or fully enclosed trailer with my truck to pull the car all the way over there.. and from the looks of things.. i wont even be able to afford gas

How about this?
There's a bazillion members on this site now, why not create some random paypal account, then everyone donates $3.00 or whatever the minimum is through paypal(Who here can't afford to send $3.00?) Leave the account open for a couple of months to get as much as possible. Then at the end of that time, divide the money equally between the two groups and get the cars going.
I'd love to see this race come together, and I know there's more than 1,000 members on here, if all of them gave even 3.00 then each crew would have $1500.00 to work with.

Half the parts I provided or hooked Chris up with came by way of people who know and like me - Mike Belben, Derek Stithhouse, Tony Foowee, Brandon @ BRMS, GSRswapandslow, blundar, etc. None of them were particularly aware that donations were needed or wanted (unlike EVERY single HMTer), but they offered ---- up after I mentioned the need. With the possible exception of Foowee, none of them give a ---- about HMT.
I guess I'm going back to being a rude *** to most of you guys when you ask stupid Q's... in this light it seems the average HMTer is worth less than the average HTer.
