mine has 185 thousand miles with exceptional compression. cranks every day. you should atleast try to get it runing.. whats wrong with it exactly? its probobly just badly flooded.

I have no idea what's wrong with it. It hasnt ran in like 2 years. The owner mentioned he didnt know ---- about rotory's but he thinks its locked up or something, lol. I plan on try to give it a go tomarrow. Is there some sort of flaw with the door locks and handles or something?

When my buddies would lock, it was just hydrolocked. You can check that by removing the plugs and seeing if it cranks. pluss you can do a comp test on it at the same time. if no compression, it's junk. If it won't crank, sometimes we had to drag it with another car and slip the clutch.

You can't really hydrolock a rotary...The main reason they lock is carbon build up..If it wont crank over with the starter...Its not going to crank over. You could try break it loose by hand I guess. But if its locked up and sat for 2 years...dont even bother trying.

rotaries dont hydro lock.

you just have carbon buildup.

put some diesel fiel into the spark plug holes and crank for like a split seccond
and ceep putting it in there. atf would work too. but atf is harsh, but it works. diesel is wat better.

atf will swell your seals though and make them more likely to blow. not the metal apex seals, but all the other ones

Not alot of atf...just enough to saturate the carbon.
