2 weeks ago I got a 89 240sx for 700 because it's got a spun bearing. I plan to swap in a ka24de and turbo it.. by the end I hope to put down 450whp at 25-30 psi.

1998 suburban 2500. Supercharged 454 on 6 psi of boost. we had it on 8 for a while but it was pinging like a mofo. On 6 psi it's putting somewhere around 500whp though.. It goes pretty well for a 6,000 pound car.

Here's the fun part.....
So I read a while ago here... http://www.geocities.com/calgarycivics/NOS.html about homemade nos. I really wanted to do it but didn't have a motor to destroy.

While I was sitting around one day I realized.. hey! I have a motor that's fucked anyways.. why not try it on that?
So.. We set up the whip cream nos for my ka24e with a spun bearing.

Here it is taped on with thick electrical tape because the hose was too small and i couldnt get it on without spilling out my nos ;).

Here you can see where it is on the intake. I just pulled off a hose that wasn't doing anything important.

Don't forget to notice the jumper cables connecting the battery to the wires in the car.... the way the new battery was oriented, the wires wouldnt fit.. so we just clamped on jumper cables and taped it up to hopefully avoid a short.

This was just after we got back.... Because it had a spun bearing, getting up to 25mph was a challenge in it's self.. at 4k rpms i thought I was going to die. The whip cream didn't do ---- to the engine good or bad, but somehow even though it was straight up, we had whip cream pouring out of the tape.
I'm trying to turn the car back on because along with no brake fluid, I leaked out whichever fluid does the clutch.. the clutch was stuck on the ground and you couln't get it in gear when it was on. O well.. we had like 6 people to push it back home. That thing was so loud though! I thought the rod was going to fly out of the block at any time.

Mayb next time I'll use more whip cream cans at the same time and make a direct port setup.
