Helllllllooooo new engine!

no engine harness yet as the it was still in the shell and it was a ------- nightmare trying to get it out. He said ---- it and he'll get it to me later as he'll take out the dash and heater core. We wasted like almost 2 hours trying to get the harness and in the end I didn't even get it. lol. Once I get it up on my stand I can tear off the unneeded mounts and ---- off and get it down to the basics and take a wire wheel to the block. Then shoot a coat of paint on it.

It ain't no thing though. ----'ll buff out and I just walked it off. :6 The fun was getting it out of my wifes Chevy Venture by myself as the wife is ready to pop out the kid. So I took a big breath and went Hotrex on that fucker lifted out. >:D Now that's how you get that ---- done.

I couldn't believe it either that I lifted that fucker out and then toss it on my skateboard/engine dolly and wheeled it into the garage. It was like those stories you hear about people lifting cars off of people from like an adrenaline rush. I'm surprised I didn't turn green and rip my clothes and go incredible hulk style lifting that thing.

Oh out of curiosity, who all has setup a standalone as wiring it and that whole ball of wax? I'm thinking while I have the money I could just go for a MS setup over using the stock 4g ecu and a safc.

Not really harder to wire up than an AFC, go for it ;)

It's all in how you setup megasquirt.

By default it uses GM sensors (IAT, etc). When I was interested in megasquirt you had to use a easytherm or some program to accept different sensor brands.

Talk to diyautotune or whatever that place was. They can help you with everything you need.

switch sensors to honda, and run an obd1 ecu.
