you need a 4g64 crank out of a might max or d50.

I used to know a guy that had a really fast 2gen eclipse, all I remember was him telling me he had a sc61 turbo 1000cc injectors and a galant crank he said it storke it out. When he launched the thing look like the front wheels where going to come up. So shoot me if I don't know a lot about dsm's, I was just going but what I had heard and seen.

The supra tranny is stronger and finding a MM tranny is kinda hard. Going with the supra tranny I use all stock parts as clutch flywheel throwout bearing...daa daa daa...etc. Not only that, it's a cable clutch and not hydro as that's what I need. Here's everything about the rwd tranny choices on 4G's

A Megasquirt would cost you a hundred more than a new AFC, and require less wires than the silly Mitsufeces ECU.

Silly Injun, you should have asked me for advice. ::)

JD, never said I was getting a new SAFC. I can score one locally for 100 24/7 on a local DSM forum. I've never setup a standalone or even what to do about a basemap. I apologize for not asking the one and only JD. Please forgive Mr Davis :'( Though you approve a 4G from like a SR or anything else under the 1000 price range in the 4 cylinder family?

word i just thought i would let you know i figured you could get one at a junk yard for next to nothing then not have to even worry about all the adaptor stuff. i know the mighty max tranny will hold 300whp. but i dont know what your power goals are sooooooo. there are some in the $350 range on car-parts.com
