Meanwhile shitvics will be shitvics. If you are wondering of what car I'm talking about well yes is a hyundai accent with an elantra engine and tranny, auto tranny.

Oh! almost forgot, it has port polish head work, wiseco pistons, pauter rods and ARP head an Main studs. The rest is stock. That is fast.
LOLZLZLLZLZLLZLZ

Can we have a link to said car? I want to see a Hyundai go 9.25 (1/8 mile maybe?) on stock fuel, stock tires, stock suspension, stock ECU, stock intake system (non turbo), stock cams, etc etc...

Lol, I don't think anyone here is crying, well maybe for your stupidity and the fact that there is a chance that you might ------ it by creating offspring.

9.25 in the quarter huh? Are we talking about your hideous orange eyesore or are you sackriding someone else's car with those numbers?

Do you have any proof of these fairy tales?

I don't doubt that ther may be at least one Hyudai in the 9's, but I seriously doubt it is as you have described.

holyshit that orange hyundai is gay.

poeple just like to pick on hondas, mad cause the only place that would approve them for a new car is hyundai, cause there cars cost $2000 to build. quality improving or not, you cant make up for no style. o and picking a fight with a 1.6L sohc is like beating your fat retard girlfriend. honda has race heritage, hyundai makes junkyard machinery

p.s. i dont love hondas or anything i just like to argue, and i probly wouldnt own one if i had more money, wouldnt own a hyudi if there was a 90% off sale

Wait a minute people, this site if HomeMadeTurbo.com, not Honda Civic central.

While searching this site for some interesting tips, which I've found, thank you very much, I came across this thread. There is nothing wrong with bringing back an old thread, especially when some education needs to take place.

Those who commented on the first page regarding the Elantra were just misinformed and uneducated. I came in here to educate you on the differences. The fact of the matter is, most of the people calling our cars slush boxes don't drive DOHC powered vehicles. Anything SOHC is rice, especially you dual-point injected 1.6L SOHC guys that add on a fart can and think you can race.

I mean come on, this site, I thought, was designed for those enthusiasts turbo charging their rides, home made style, not Edlebrocks bolt on kit (which by the way, is recommended to only 8 psi unless you build the internals.) Most of you Honda Guys should know this, and if you don't, consider yourself informed.

The comparison I made in my post was quite viable, because it is those guys that I compared that talk the greatest amount of ----.

If you'd like, give me a couple of hours to grab the pics of the 260WHP Elantra, to show proof. What it does in the quarter mile, I and the owner have no idea, because we aren't done yet.

You know, the fact that we have to sink more money into our car due to the lack of aftermarket support should earn some respect from you people, not the other way around. It's not everyday you can come across a boosted Elantra, much less one that has a very good chance of whooping your ***.

If you notice, Mayollo72R is in Puerto Rico, and if you knew anything of cars, and appreciated all forms of racing, then you'd know that in Puerto Rico Accents and Elantras are capable of less than 10 second passes in the quarter. That's with the Beta II motor, 2.0L, on either a GT28 or GT32 turbo. Come on guys, don't you think that's pretty damn good, especially for cars that don't have aftermarket support.

By the way, I'm well versed in the Honda arena. I fully understand that a built GSR, 1.8L V-Tec motor boosted can go to 400 to 500 whp. It's been done, courtesy of Central Florida Turbo, Maybe you've heard of them? Well, if you have, you should contact them, and get a copy of the video showing the Red Elantra with the GT28R turbo being dyno'd and tuned.

It's sad that you have to treat people so bad here. We are all supposed to be car guys, right? We are all moving toward a common goal, boosting our present platform, right? So why do you have to hate on those being different.

You were had buddy. No Hyundai in history except for the Hyundai S coupe came turbo, much less bi-turbo. The S coupe wasn't even available in the U.S., most were imported from Puerto Rico for those wanting one.

The new Tiburon, due out in 2009, is supposed to be RWD, and POSSIBLY turbo charged, however, it's unlikely that boost will happen.

I believe that you don't even have a college degree. I will love to see your hunduh looking that *** (oh crap! I forgot is your momys car and maybe auto )
For those who just follow what other said, ere is the 9 second car proof link http://www.lmautocomputer.com/. If you analize what was written in the post regarding this accent mods, it only refers to engine work. It do have slicks, suspension and a wheelie bar. No street tire can stand that power. For the people that doesn't speak spanish press the button that reads "ver video" and youi will see the beasty in action.

Homemadturbo.com or Shitvicturbo.com this is not a unique honda site is a car people turbo site. Why you guys think is your forrum? If you want to boost your SOCH 1.6 and believe that tha is the worlds most extreme car then believe it but let the others boost what they want to boost and save your comments. I only posted in this forum because honda guys believe they are the ---- and every time I smoke on shitvic they come telling, "Duh your car have more mods than the ones you said". They can't belive that they were outrun by a hyundai but overhere the fastest turbo hondas can beat any betad accent or a well programed turb r supercharged elantra or tibby. Stck poower on this cars are nt the greates because of their weight power ratio. Your shitvics weight almost 1000 punds less than a tiburon (tiburons weigh close to 200 pounds less than a ford mustang gt) and near to 700 less than an elantra.

My engine is stock and it has never been opened. Boosted 12 psi Turbonetics T3/T4E and will be bosted for dyno at 17 psi and yeah I will post the results and the video of the dyno.

There you go. This official link for timeslips looks a lot better http://www.dragtimes.com/Hyundai-Acc...slip-5991.html
Get informed before bashing or talking ----.

Umm.. Who do you intend to have banned? I'm pretty sure it isn't warranted, and if it is, I'm sure the ones that should be banned are the ones who have done the name calling, as it wasn't warranted. I was cursed up one side and down the other, just for trying to educate you people on the Elantra/Civic comparison. If that reason for banning, then WOW, what kind of website is this?

Why lock this thread? I'll just start a new one, one that will be much more informative for those interested in turbo charging a Beta II.
