Not sure if that matters in Germany.

the switch is required on the track in Germany, I havent look into the type of switch that is needed. but German safety laws are more thorough than the states, if I am gonna have a switch on my trunk it have to serve a purpose and be legal. after all I am still American who knows when I will come home,

about the switch I'd rather have the pull/push type, but I have no idea how to mount it in a civic.

Question:
is 4 gauge wire too big for alternator power?
I bought 2 gauge for the starter/main power, and 4 gauge for the alternator.

Thicker the wire the better for amperage capacity and less resistance (usually safer if used properly).

thanks for the reply above.

the motor is back together and ready to go back in, just waiting for my friend to find me a b16 transmission because I hate this long geared ls tranny, and the t1 catch can and battery box from importparts. I don't think I am gona be ready for the final race on the 3rd to the 5th of october, still need to break in and tuned.

There is a switch kit you can buy. but all it is would be a normal switch turned verticle with a push pull rod. I believe there is a kit online for that. I dont mind my switch the way it is mounted now, I know B- North is going to ---- with it at stop lights though.

and I ran 6 gauge welding wire for my alternator charge.

New updates on the rebuild, just waiting for a b16 transmission, plan to hit up the nurburgring on the 16th of october, but not with theis gay *** LS tranny, I'll be the slowest car on the racetrack with this big *** turbo. so hope I get the transmission soon.
