+1

I cant tell if its a 939 or AM2 board from the pics, but either way, they are both pretty cheap these days on NewEgg.

dissconnect everything except the vid card mobo and power supply see if you can post... that will at least narrow it down to one of those 3 compinents. i know you already said you tried the PS though.. you can t hen add ram, hard drives, pci cards one at a time to see if you can find the problem.

normally i would say its the video card based on what your tellin me but you never know something unrelated could have gone bad and be conflicting in some way.

Is there any way to isolate the issue? How can I find out its either the video card or the mobo? Is the only way to replace the video card or mobo?

if your computer didnt beep when you took the memory out its the mobo..

even with a fried video card the pc would have beeped when you took the ram out.... and it would have powered on fine to where you would have heard the windows log on ----

Newegg charges me tax. The also had a very very very similiar product available at the time I was buying the computer. It was $50 less but only had 1 GB of ram and a worse video card. The computer had really good reviews overall and won a couple of awards for case design and such. If the mobo/processor failed, it could be my fault. I broke my PC fan installing a new HD and installed another one from an older computer. It may not have been powerful enough, but I highly doubt it.
