Default My computer has AIDs. Monitor is displaying "No Signal Output"

Here is the deal. I bought this PC a little over a year ago. Last Friday, when I went back up to my room and my PC was frozen. Control + Alt + Del didn't work. I shut down the PC using the power button. Waited 10 seconds and then went to turn it back on. PC wouldn't boot up and the monitor shows a "No Signal" error.

Now I've left the PC to boot up for long periods of time with the PC speakers on full blast hoping that the PC is actually booting to Windows and just nothing is being displayed. I haven't heard anything so I don't think I'm booting to Windows.

I've opened the case and checked to make sure all the wires were tight. I looked over all of the essential boards for signs of burning up and haven't seen anything. I check my processor temp periodically and it's never been a high temp. I've also tested my monitor on another PC and it works fine.

I figured it was probably the power supply, RAM, video card, or motherboard. I went out today and bought a new power supply, RAM, and video card to do some testing with and return if they didn't solve the problem. I really figured it was power supply or motherboard though. So I swapped out the power supply and the same symptoms occurred. I removed everything from the mobo that wasn't essential. I removed the RAM and tried booting up without it and did not hear any error beeps. Right now I'm not sure I want to open the RAM and video card in case Circuit City gives me ---- for returning it and I'm out $200+. The power supply I was willing to risk.

Any suggestion, thoughts, jokes, nude pictures of your sister/girlfriend/ex-girlfriend/mom/wife/aunt/or anyone else are all welcome.

I had something kinda like that. I unpluggged EVERYTHING and then plugged everything back in. For some reason it worked. Sometimes it is just simple ----. I hope that is the case for you.

I've done most of it. I guess I should try everything. Maybe it will work. It's worth a shot. A new mobo and processor is about $200 so it's worth a shot.

Errr sounds like video card problem to me. If there are problems with it, it won't boot to windows.

It could be a number of things though.

My computer wasn't booting, so I bought a new mobo. That one stopped booting after a few days too. Turned out it was one of the USB card readers ------- with the mobo somehow causing it not to post.

Buk, my computer broken>>>>>>>>>>>>what you have for sale. But I do agree with the error beeps and RAM. Today is one of the few times I wish compusa was still in business. I could buy a motherboard and processor from them and test to see if its the problem. If I buy online, it becomes a whole big thing returning it.

According to the girl at circuit city, I could return it if it wasn't compatible with my computer or didn't work well. Anyone work at Circuit City and confirm their return policy on open computer hardware?
