A decent alarm, hidden ricer gauges and possibly a fuel pump/batter kill switch hidden somewheres could have kept your car from going bye-bye. Then again, you put what? $800 into a $500 car? If u have insurance (and i hope to god you do because you're not seeing very much of that car left if it does get recovered), have them total it out and buy something else. Let that be a lesson to you. Dont stick ---- on your car that says "fast" with no security. Chances are good, one day you'll come home to an oil spot in your driveway where your car used to be. I hope you find it but i also hope you learned a good lesson about TRUST. Assume everyone is a back stabbing piece of ---- that wants what you have and you'll make it further in life.
Edit: I never take the time to read through these threads. You did find it. Shell is in good shape. Again, i hope your insurance is good.
You know, I totally agree with you. I really honestly feel bad for the guy who lost his car, probably his life at the moment...but in reality its something that goes along with owning a honda. IMO, you dont own a honda and not have the thought in the back of your mind. It doesn't matter if you have a bone stock 1989 honda hatchback or a 2008 Si, its got a strong chance of getting swiped. To the dude who says he lives in the boon-docks where no one will steal your ----...wait until you drive it into a city some day. You will be catching a bus back home, and it would suck to tell someone you couldn't go into the city because your afraid of your 1988 honda getting stolen. Really, thats the nature of the "game" though.

My advice, find another car you enjoy. There are tons of other cars out there that you can modify for pennies.
