Yesterday was our big event at Pacific Raceways. Battle of the imports, in fact it was our only big import event all year long. HMT was going to have about 7-8 cars total there, but with the complications at the last minute some didnt get to race. (leed) Dave was pulling a all nighter w/ (88dx) Steve to finish up Dave's car..



Dave has gone through several sets of pistons as you can see.



Unfortunetly the last minute effort didnt work out to well. Smoking badly dave was unable to bring his car down, so instead dave raced steve's b16 hatchback.



Here is the pits, Dillan (in the red) drove down with us in his Z6 Turbo EF and was unable to race because he had a big crack in his windsheild.

Beau brang out the racecar, this time using the wheelie bars, even though I didnt set them up right the first pass, haha.



Getting Teched in, (Kim) beau's girlfriend in the background, she didnt look like she was having a good time.



Dustin (turbohf) also racing with his Turbo LS/Vtec crx, running pat Pat's Drag radials. Pat also didnt get to race because he was unable to get slicks and wheel studs in time.



Jay sporting his new ITB setup on his B18. Jay's fuel pressure gauge cracked and was leaking fuel everywhere. We had nothing to plug it up so we went to the skunk2racing pit and we asked them for a 1/8th Brass plug or anything to plug up the rail and they ended up giving us a used fuel pressure gauge for free!!



haha, you guys can just guess who engines bay this is. I can't believe johnny drove all the way up here to race his car in the condition it was running. The damn thing sounded like a sick subaru w/ a fatty mosquito smokescreen. He had so much crankcase blowby (oil) in his engine bay he freaking degreased the engine in the line before tech inspection, hahahah



Matt came down with the Northend crew too, sporting his Crvtec in his delsol.



Josh Ross (turboaccord4dr) raced his Dad's built ls/vtec 4dr.



This was josh's first time on slicks, and each time he went up to the line his launchs and burnouts were getting better and better, and so were his ET's. I still think we should see ol Dad race his car

I brang a few sets of axles for anybody who broke anything.. None of us broke any but some guy with a ITR broke one and I ended up selling it for fifty bucks and treated the HMT guys to a lovly dining experience at Sharies, haha

Tire pressure seemed to be a big problem that day, the track officals were freaking out about Stephen, Josh, and leia's air pressure. Thank god beaus air pressure gauge was off by 5psi and we used it to show them whats up.

Skunk2 with their all motor K24 RSX



Busting out a 9.84 @ 140mph is simply incredible for a all motor.



I think they were pretty excited too.. Big thumbs up to Dr. Charles and the skunk2 racing crew.

I had fun it was cool too see everyone’s cars and setups. I went 40 hours with out sleep this weekend It felt really good to sleep and relax all day. LOL Daves dining room table is getting full .
