Mercedese story

Re:Mercedese story
Do they have new mercedes kompressor's or something? The ones on the mercedes website have little 4 cylinder engines and you couldn't pay me to drive one of those ugly *** kompressor coupes. The 4 door isn't that bad looking though. I would rather get a high end mercedes instead of the cheapeast one they have though. If I was going to get a cheap luxury car I would buy a Lexus IS300 and turbocharge it.

Re:Mercedese story
the kompressors are supercharged
believe me, the new v8 s/c ones are pimp. they look great and i bet they're pretty fast
i watched a car show on ESPN this mornin. they did a test between the 03 viper srt10 (80k) and 03 z06 vette (50k)
the viper ran 12.1 and the vette ran 12.5 with street tires on both.
but of course they said the vette will out corner and brake the viper over and over.

Re:Mercedese story
I don't understand how the vette will out corner the new viper. It has over 1 lateral G of grip. The new vette has .98g. The skidpad doesn't lie, neither does a slalom which the new viper won as well. I'm not sure about the braking but the reviews I read the new viper uses a vette for a bitch.

Re:Mercedese story
you heard that? well these guys tested them. the only time i've seen a viper pull 1 full g on a skipad was a 300ft one
the numbers come out about the same, .98g for the vette and .97gs for the viper. but the vette always comes out on top in road races for some reason... traction issues maybe?
