Today I was driving down the highway and this z28 pulls up next to me.. (i got a 97 Integra LS) well i look over to see what hes doing and maybe to say whats up or something cuz he kept hovering next to me.. well I look over and hes over there laughing his *** off at my car.. Then he yells out ... Man its gotta suck to be that slow.. Alright well it was a ******** thing to do but I guess my car isnt the quicker... In a few weeks though when the turbo goes on i'll be happy to join in laughing with him Thank god for turbos!!

thats fucked up dude . Luckily no one has done that to me and when they do i will have my turbo in im hopeing. When you rape his stupid *** i wanna hear about it. dude.... i love honda/acura...but even with the turbo..he will probably still smoke you.. stock 98-02 camaro z28'S run mid 13's stock.ls1 also respond very very well to modifications..like 25 horses from a exhaust. well good lucky anyways..but dont even try to race him from a stop.

my friend ran a 13.4 with a borla exhaust and drag radials with a 98 camaro Z28....saw the run with my own eyes, ...camaros are fast..a local GSR here runs best of 13.8 at 9 psi... just don't forget..camaros shine on the drag strip,thats what there made for. 320 horsepower stock.there is a reason these cars have 500 dollar a month insurance.5.7 liter..and you know what they say..theres no replacement for displacement.

Heh, if I had a few extra $$$ I would drop in a built B20z with MASS turbo on it. Imagine putting down 370whp @12psi in a crx that weighs 2100 lbs WITH close gears. Dropping a setup like that in a rex would be expensive, but not nearly the cost of a Z28 with high insurance. Not to mention that a rex is much more fun.

dang this is historic. a decent and truthfull conversation about an integra and a camaro.

yeah my with with stock engine and turbocharged @ 8psi will be slower than a z28 camaro, or about the same speed. around 14 flat. just like gt mustangs.

i would argue though that crx are not more fun to drive than the newer camaros. the tourqe steer of a FWD car is really annoying. and the multipal upgrades you have to make on a honda to make it safe and make it acually handle the power sucks. eg clutch & brakes. cause most hondas weren't made to go fast. so the trannies don't hold up and the brakes are just enough to be safe but could be a lot better.
also in a burly v8 you don't have to ROMP on the gas to MOVE. i feel like a dumbshit in my crx, because i have to practically floor it to get going from a stop light.

i can vouch for a z28 running low 13s. i saw a kid at PIR (porland international raceway) with a 80s IROC Z28 run 13 flat with just headers and exhaust and street tires.
