The eagles, crower econo, scat, TT, and the rest of the "eagle looking" rods are all probably made on the same block by a couple different factories. While eagle, crower, and scat say they do the final machining, I think it's more of a marketing tactic.

It's a sad fat of life in the US that outsourcing to other countries has actually made the process "cheaper" for the retailer. Considering it costs less to pay someone in China to manufacture the rods, and then pay for the shipping to the US, and then pay someone in the US just to do the final work over just having them manufacted 100% in the states speaks well of the current government and it's millions of bullshit rules and regulations. Sorry to say it, but the "land of the free" is turning into the "land of the regulated" :P

It sucks that nothing is really made in America anymore. And it’s our own fault. Why? Because as workers we want to make top dollar (which is not a bad thing) but as consumers we want cheap prices. Out sourcing sucks.

Especially when you have to call customer service for something and some Flip picks up the phone only to have me yells at him for pronouncing my name "Rapal" instead of Rafael..... ------- HP :3
