holy ----, man, i can't believe every time i look at these pics how much it looks exactly like the pics of the swap i did in my teg. same engine, same car, same color. looks good, good luck with the suspension ---- :P two things i hate working on, suspension and body work :P

looks good...and i like working on the suspension and body work better than doing a swap. just get a longer bolt and use a nut on the end if all else fails

yay... engine is all in... runs really well.. started up first crank... had a cell... forgot to plug the TPS in lol. then it was perfect. runs pretty strong... um i dont know how much of a upgrade it was over my other engine... but its a little bit faster... needs the turbo setup on asap ;)

the clutch grabs like a mofo...shakes the car... but i gotta live with it :)

one thing i wasn't sure about...

there are two little plugs... they are connected to the thing of wires that are by the alternator stuff... i didnt see a spot for them... they look like two of the temp sensor that plugs into the head... the battery doesnt charge right now... so i think taht is it...

Nice Nice, Glad to hear the clutch is grabbin. Couple tips, if its a green plug your referring to... Yes that one would be for your alternator. #2 your alternator maybe bad or not plugged in correctly at the fuse box, many people mistake the wire for a ground. Secondly about your suspension problem johnny, You have two choices.. Get a jack and jack up the arm as u tighten the bolt, #2 You can just grab the tie rod bushing by hand and squeeze rather hard and then tighten the castle nut, Second way should be easiest and work. if your teg has the coolant sensor on the back instead of the thermostat or vice versa, that might be where one of ur plugs will need to be extened to, if its fat short green, thats ur alty plug, make sure to ground ur alternator on top to with that i ring wire.
Glad to hear its running good man

If your crx was a dx, then yes youll have to extra plugs on the harness, one was for an injector and the other was some other bs i forgot what for, but ones white, ones green, if its fat short green, thats ur alty plug, make sure to ground ur alternator on top to with that i ring wire.

i got that green plug in there... the ones that are loose are two plugs single wire... that look like the temp sensor or wahtever that goes into the head... i got the suspension in order... i had to buy some new castle nuts from the store...

Well i guess my question now is what kind of wire harness do you have and where do those 2 plugs fall? any chance 1 is a 2nd o2 sensor plug?

you said those 2 wires are like the single one for the temp sensor on the head? they're probably for the oil pressure sender and the water temp sensor on the back of the block, they're a bitch to get on, at least mine were, if you break them go buy some female bullet connectors and your problem is solved.

it might be for your oil pressure sensor on the back of the block. but if i could remember on those older motors. they have another sensor with like to nipples like the water temp sensor. that could be it. did u transfer all your old sensors onto the new block? if so you might need to do that. since the b18b is an obd1 block right? and check the back of your original block. maybe you'll see it. and about your battery not being charged. the only way i see that happening is if that lil wire with the ring on the end isnt connected. if thats connected and the wire in your fuse box is connected and it still doesnt charge. then u might have a bad alternator? did u swap your old one onto that also. i hope this helps
