My bad then....

I need to get used to the different mindset and different circumstances....

Base boost on a stock Saab is about 9 psi, rising to 15.5. Modded ones hit 20-25 psi easily...

Hopefully the heat doesn't become an issue.

The plan is to get the BOV and the rest of the piping on/done tomorrow, get the 450's in and get the ECU sent out, so that when the ECU gets back we'll be golden :)

Chris says this is his first/last turbo setup on this car, then he wants an Evo VIII :S I think the 16g will be fine for his application

I hope so Jeff, I hope so...let me guess, couple of days for johnny's?

wrap that coupler in tape. I have a laer of duct tape wrapped cleanly in black electrical tape. Same coupler has held up for almost a year now.

I know this site is all about cheap ghetto mods and ----, but why skimp on someting so cheap as a hose? Cheap Home Depot ---- is about as reliable as a 2 dollar ho.

When I build it, I want to do it once and I want to do it right.

No going back under the ------- car at 3 a.m. in 10 degree weather to fix a blown hose.
No strange sounds when I'm boosting.
No smoke.
No fire.
No bullshit....

Well, why the hell would we be out at 3 a.m. when its 10 degrees out... also, from now til next winter it wont get that cold, and why would you go under the car to get to the pipe coming from the turbo :l stike 1.

Unlike you, Spanky, I don't have to be in bed before the street lights come on, so I'm often out until 2 or 3 in the morning. And my turbo to IC pipe is best accessed from under the car. But I won't have to ---- with it because I used decent hose and good clamps...

vroom, psh and POP when that POS hose pretends it's a defective condom.

Anything in that abortion of an engine bay is likely to need a fire extinguisher, especially that Tinker-Toy turbo when you push it out of it's efficiency range...That's not a moped, son, that's a car! Put a real snail in it.... :3
