I checked on ebay and you can buy them new for $250. The reviews sound like it works, all the ones I've read are from happy customers.
I have a low signal one or two bars in the rear corner of my wood fence, so I'm thinking if I put the antenna right there, then bring the transmitter inside the house I should be good to go. I'm not looking into getting a full 5 bars of the signal, but if I can get at least 2 or 3 bars that should be good enough.

It's not going to be bad, but I'm still leaving work early, I told them that because it is my first rain in the house I want to be there just in case there's any leaks, I know everything is fine. .

I'm coming from Polk county, houses there are still expensive, well maybe not as much when compared to Tampa, but still, a newer 3/2 1300sqft house will sell for $250-$275k. My parents are going to sell their house in Haines City(Polk County) for around $370k, 3500sqft total, 4/3, two story, 2 living rooms, one upstairs, great room, formal dining, thing is huge, the master bedroom and bathroom alone is probably bigger than my whole house .
