The blue CRX you question had the peak power to weight of a liter bike, with a much broader and much less peaky powerband which means it pulls longer and harder. In the high resolution version of that video you can make out the needle on the boost gauge and the instant the bike stops pulling is when the car hit full boost. I can host it for you if you'd like, as well as provide contact information for it's ex-owner, the bike owner, the shop owner who lent the video camera who also happens to have 40+ videos on youtube of his CRX eating slow ****** crotch rockets at the track, etc.

Seriously, Spiker's shitwagon makes 630 erroneously high Dynojet whp at peak boost in a package that pushes ~3400 with him in it, and he has videos of himself killing equivalent bikes at less than that boost. Everyone nods their head at this because, well, yeah, that's about how it works when you take a ten second car out on the street. I present you with a video of a 2100-2200 vehicle making more power to weight and it's suddenly bullshit - just because you don't like me?

What I am calling bullshit on:

1. A Crx running 9psi on a tiny *** turbo that can smoke a 500whp Cobra
2. That video of an 11 second bike that is supposed to be "racing" as it loses 20 car lengths in about 2 seconds.

Obviously there are plenty of cars that are faster than 11 seconds, but to pull away 20 car lengths in an instant is ridiculous to think it's true.

I'm sure Spiker's car smokes PLENTY of bikes, but can he pull 20 car lengths in 2 seconds against an 11 second bike?

It was dead even, actually. At 225 whp that puts me at exactly the same power to weight as the Cobra. Funny how things like that work.


Here's a video of a car that weighs 200 lbs more and makes an extra 7 whp, notice how it slingshots vehicles that run faster than an 11 second bike at mid track. From a roll, where the failure that is a FWD launch is removed from the equation, the CRX I posted isn't doing anything out of the ordinary.
