I believe I read somewhere from Tough_Guy: EPA puts out a standard, Manufacturers are required to meet said standard. As long as your vehicle tests above the standard there is not a problem. Certain number of PPM emissions in exhaust output, as long as you don't exceed that, they aren't going to have a problem. Should his tuning be tested in such a way, he would have to obide by the standards set forth. However, Laws arent ---- if they are not to be enforced, hence JD's Good Ol' Boy Network. They dont give a ----, the investigation is going to go like this:
Officer: You JD?
JD: Yes
Officer: Cool rides
