Not that it reallt matters, stock for stock all the SR20s are good, even the SR20DE non-turbo engines can handle a ton of boost. Besides, the GTi-R engine is a FWD block which is a little different from the RWD stuff.

yup. ive seen some monsters here. then when the ******* tell me they are on a stock bottom end, i go
tomei cams, and a little port work and solid lifters is what opens the motor up. IMO its like the bottom end is being restricted big time by the head that Nissan put on the motor. the GT turbo is good for a daily driving/drifter car. Dood for around 350- hp or so. Most of the drifters here dont usually run much more power than that.

You forgot the 1uz-fe. I'd like a MKII or MKIII Supra with a 1uz. only bad part is just all the fabbing that would need to be done. Thats why I voted D-series anyway. A DOHC ZC can make pretty good power in a EF for a fair price without having to do an *** load of fabbing, which the average car enthusiast cant afford.
