homemade dyno software??? anyone tried this or simular items?

I know they are used in the US but not so common here in the UK. could someone give me some advice? thanks in advance

Actually, you know what, I have that exact kit sitting around here somewhere.
It's nice. It's not to bad on accuracy (for a Home Dyno) providing you have the correct information about your vehicle setup, and current weather conditions.
I mainly used it to measure "change" between different setups. Like, if I change my VTEC cross over from 5200 to 4400, do I make or lose power. Not really "how much" power.. get what I'm saying?
