Dude, your a ------- idiot, weak for whats done to it? I spent 500 dollars. Tell your brother to build a a6 for 500 bucks and keep it NA and completely stock looking and see if he can gain 40whp. Money says you wont even get close. The engine has been completely rebuilt.

GLHS Information:

Shelby produced 500 GLHSs in '86 and 1000 in '87. The '86 GLHS is a converted Dodge Omni GLH, and the '87 is a converted Dodge Charger. Bone stock, the '86 ran a 14.7 in the quarter, and the '87 ran a 14.9 (being that the Charger was a couple hundred pounds heavier).

Both cars had the following: (Items in black were part of the Shelby conversion).

- First Generation Turbocharged 2.2l (4cyl) Block (called the Turbo I)
- Turbo I Cylinder Head
- 5-Speed A525 Transmission
- Adjustable Koni Gas Charged Shocks
- Turbo II Turbocharger
- Turbo II Two-Piece Intake / Fuel Rail
- Turbo II Exhaust Manifold
- Turbo II Radiator
- Turbo II Intercooler
- Turbo II Fuel Injectors
- Shelby Computer
- Shelby Serial Numbered Dash Plaque
- Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel
- Leather Wrapped Shifter Knob
- 205/50VR-15 Goodyear Gatorback Tires
- 15" Cast Aluminum Wheels (called Centurions)
- Clear 135mph Sticker Over the Stock Speedometer

With the above modifications, the GLHSs were rated at 175hp and 175lb-ft of torque.
