Had some problems at first with Turboedits boost cut and a very ------ rigged HMT boost controller that spiked 20psi!

------ rigged? Hmm, same style boost controller worked fine on my sohc setup at 14psi for months. I have 2 friends that run the exact boost controller and have never had a problem as well. Plenty of people run homemade ball and spring mbc's and I will continue to run them on my setups...

I'd call it pretty ------ rigged or built wrong if you turn the thing a 1/2 turn and it goes up 10psi.

Sorry to hear about your guys engine... did you even touch the MBC on the way home? It looked like it was holding 9psi on the dyno, but the clutch was slipping really bad.

dont blame the boost controller. lack of paying attention to wtf you're doing when you remove the wastegate and put it back on owns you...

worst part is. I think I did it.

*as reviewing the hmt nw video footage, whats wrong with this picture*

anyone have a ZC they want to sell me, it appears I owe Alec a motor.

There could be no way that boost controller I sold would go up 10psi with a half turn unless something else was the culprit, which it was...

I was thinking about that after it blew last night ::)

How about you just find a good deal on one locally and help install. I probably need a short block, most likely the head went to, we'll see monday when I go back to the coast.

Wanna explain the problem? I dont know how MBC's are routed yet, was it not being regulated at all?

I didn't hit the 180's like I wanted to, but maybe it's because I have an EXTREMELY dented header and stock TB, so it's all good. Plus the dude that runs the joint seemed kinda sketchy about me doing more pulls with a bent wheel LoL. Regardless, the car still feels a lot better to drive than it did before, and it was a dope experience (my first time at the dyno)! I wanna give a big thanks to Dave, Jay, and Jeff for getting my car to run right. You guys are ------- AWESOME. I'm gonna go try slaying some Type R's and hitting my NA goal (a modest mid-low 14's), because they won't want any when I'm boosted (LoL which will hopefully be before the end of summer).

LoL thanks for pointing the dent out Murdoc. Yeah, some fucker hit and ran on my front fender and bumper. Hopefully the whole car will be getting painted soon.

Now for some pictures. I took a lot, but they turned out shitty because I have shaky hands haha. I've got high-res pics of these ones posted though if any of you guys want 'em:
