I didn't think before I spoke.. I'll explain this at the end...

Well, for one it's already stated that God(Christ) will not return to this earth until he calls his people back, and he has not done so, and his visit is only temporary, he's not coming to earth as a human again (which you are)

God cannot sin, which all man has sinned (and I know you have) :P

You were created from your father's sperm and your mother's egg joining, creating life (you)... God is already alive so how could he be created again? Jesus had no earthly father.

But again, this is being taken from MY viewpoint of God, not yours. I know you believe in the String Theory (which is quite fascinating by the way)... as far as how my beliefs go, I could prove that you are not God to a fellow believer.. but to a non believer, you can be your own god if you wanted to believe so, so I guess from a Christian standpoint I could prove you wrong but from a non theological sense I cannot...

Phew :l

Re: God damned Jehovah’s Witnesses.

When I was growing up my mom tried to raise me as a jehovahs witness.I have to say I had a fucked up childhood because of it no birthdays or christmas. It sucked pretty bad.
Then all the attempts to brainwash me into believing all that crap.It sucked being a little kid having all the older people that I respected trying to pressure me into believing things that I knew were just some made up bullshit like
Only 144.000 people go to heaven and then the rest of us that god decides are good enough get to live forever here on earth. ::)

Forever is a long time..I meen what happens when the Or sun finally burns out. They only last so long.
Oh thats right Jehovah is going to just keep it working forever.

And they think when the end comes that their will still be people left alive from the year 1914.About year 2030 i'm sure the watchtower govenring body is going to come to some new understanding of bible prohpecy about that time :1

their just a bunch of nut cases that stole the joy from about 16 years of my young life...

Re: God damned Jehovah’s Witnesses.

OK I'm a Jehovah's Witness and I'm going to try to clear up some of the misconceptions noted in this thread so far, ths is one of the main problems we have, so many misunderstood actions and outright lies makes people so wary of us. It's ridiculous really, I'm a person just like you- have the same feelings, seriously when we're talking to you at your door- I have a really hard time with that! You want to know why? because I feel like I'm out there trying to tell you how to live your life- but that's not true! What the deal really is, is that Jehovah God is the one trying to help you with your life, I'm just the messenger, if you don't want it, that's fine at least I did my part and offered it to you- The reason we keep coming back in case you're wondering, is that even if you don't want religion to be a part of your life now, you never know what circumstances can change in people's lives and maybe now they'll be more receptive. It's happened many many times.

now for some of the comments:

"Those are mormons" - could be, that description sounds a lot like them.

"http://www.watchtower.org/" There are a lot of sites about Jehovah's witnesses out there that try to ------ disinformation, so don't believe everything you read or hear.

"I guess I'm one of the few that now sits and waits for the Jehovah's to come back" - we use the term Witnesses preferrably seems as how Jehovah is God's name.

"well apparently they dont believe in putting out either" - This is true we don't beleive in pre-marital sex, one reason why you see a lot of young married witnesses :P However that's not to say it doesn't happen, because we are born with sin and some people can't resist the temptation.

"I think they are like the Jews and believe the Messiah hasn't come yet." -Not true, I'd go into a further explanation, but most of you probably don't want to hear it so i'll stick with that.

"I know they believe he was crucufied on a Stake and not a cross" - This is True.

"Well, I mean, they believe that there was a man named Jesus but they do not believe that he was the Savior, the Messiah, God's son, etc etc" - This is Not True.

"Why do your places of worship (sorry, not sure if it's a church, temple, or what) not have any windows?" -One other guy hit it on the head, it's tons cheaper and more efficient, there's actually witnesses all around the world, so a kindom hall in Uganda for example won't even have walls, just a roof, because it's so warm there that it's more efficient that way, we're not hiding anything, come see for yourself.

"Also whats the deal with no holidays (another question I've always wondered about)? I'd be pretty pissed if I didn't get toys for christmas and a blowjob on my birthday." - This is another long and complicated answer, short answer sufficed to say is that all celebrated holidays have their origins in Pagan rituals and we can't be a part of that. If you don't agree with that I suggest you do some research on any holiday, you might be suprised at what you find.

"don't jahovas believe that in heaven the streets are paved with gold or some ----? thats all i know about em" -This is not true. I have no idea where crap like this comes from. and yet he says that's the only thing he knows about us, and it's not even correct, this might be why it can't hurt to actually talk to one of us sometimes.

"jahova's will have two guys and one hot ass girl with them" -Generally there are groupes of two that go to the door, but there's no set rule- and you know what, you're right there are quite a few hot witness girls- and I think people like them all the more because they know they're virgins :-\

Anyway that's a couple of things cleared up, if anyone has any more questions feel free to ask them. Nothing is worse than ignorance.

Re: God damned Jehovah’s Witnesses.

DMC, in response to your post...

The 144,000 Jews / Israelites who are sealed in Revelation 7:4-8 are sealed for the specific purpose of being “evangelists” during the Tribulation period. The sealing provides protection from the plagues and devastation brought on by the trumpet and bowl judgments, as well as from the wrath of the Antichrist. The 144,000 is not a limit to how many people will be saved, but rather is just a select group of Jewish believers called to proclaim God’s message during the end times. There will be perhaps millions of other converts during the Tribulation, most of them a result of the 144,000’s ministry.
That's what other Christians believe... it's not how many people go into Heaven, it's how many "evangelists", if you will, will be proclaiming God's word on Earth in the end times.

Actually he was correct, we do believe that 144,000 go to heaven and the rest of us live on a paradise earth. In regards to that sarcastic comment about the sun burning out and him just keeping it going forever, why is that so hard to beleive? If he created all things, don't you think the simple task of keeping the sun alive forever wouldn't be that tricky of a thing to do?

In 1919 Jesus chose Jehovah's Witnesses as the only true religion on earth.

In general, Christians agree with the Watchtower Society on details of the life of Christ. However, the notion that Jesus became the Messiah at His baptism runs counter to biblical teaching. Jesus was hailed as the Messiah at His birth and even before (see Isa. 9:6; Matt. 1:16-18; 2:4; Luke 2:11,26)
How does that work? Not trying to sound like a smartass, I'm asking how is that he was not the Messiah until he was baptized?
