G-tech for tuning?

I dont have lots of options when it comes to dyno tuning where I live. I have a turbo d16 running ectune, which I now have street tuned myself. This is my first turbo setup, and also my very first tune. I have tried to get as much info as possible about reading spark plugs, and also made some diy det cans, but I have no real world experience, so I still feel very unsure when it comes to tuning timing, and what to look/listen for.

Now I read about the gtech pro rr which is able to give you a torque curve based on both rpm and gforce, and download it to your computer for comparision. I know the actual numbers are depending on factors like weight, wind resistance of the car, gear ratio, etc, so it will probably not be correct, but its the comparision of two different graphs done at the same road in the same gear but with different timing thats interesting to me. If its accurate enough to show me where the "flat spot" is, it would really help me out. Has anyone tried one of these, or is it just pure bullshit?

Sell your car and buy an education.

crank up the boost and go WOT at 3rd gear. Lick your finger and stick it out the window. if your finger gets colder, you are running lean and you should loosen the vice grips that are crimping your return line.

Lol, yeah, thanks O0

I have a LC-1. I have no gtech. I understand I cant tune my car using the gtech, I just wanted some semi-decent tool to get some kind of torque graphs when the dyno is not an option. Guess its a no-no :1
