That ****** must have came at him like a missile? I always thought it was the deer that got the shitty end of the deal, not the driver.

How old is this guy? I'm not sure if I would want to live if I can't wipe my own ***.

I've hit two deer and sent one flying over my roof about eight feet in the air, or so said my friend who was driving behind me. After my wife hit one I went out and got these for each of the cars. http://www.sav-a-life.com/Deeralert_...FRD2QAodym9u9g They no ---- work and you can get them for $10. Three years and seen plenty of deer but they stop or run the other way. Just have to put the whistles somewhere where they won't get knocked off in the car wash and not look too goofy. Well, that's my public service announcement. If you drive where there are deer, get these. At the very least they save you the deductable. Also, if you see one deer cross up ahead, slow down because there are probably more.

Yeah so Justin ended up passing away.. they kept him on life support to save his organs since he's a donor. But his mom pulled the plug a few days ago. He was only 21. Supposidly, the deer is still wedged in his truck cab at the yard. I'll see about where it's at and try to get some pictures. It'll be rough though.

---- man, that's terrible news. I hope everyone gets through the grief and honors his life properly. It's so true that only the good die young. I hate to say it, but it's probably better that he was pulled off life support because you know he was an honorable guy and probably would have hated being a vegetable. I'm right there with you on the sadness. I had to put my beloved cat Cooper down yesterday and am just devastated. I can't eat or sleep and cry like a ------- baby at the thought of him. He was healthy as could be 2 weeks ago and then just got eaten alive by a rare brain disease. He was only 7. He was 1 in a million and was a gorgeous 38lb mountain of a cat. Now I know he wasn't a human, but to me that doesn't matter. He was a good friend and I loved him unconditionally and that's what it's all about.

Just let yourself grieve for your friend because you owe it to him to show your pain for his loss. I know it sounds like a ----- thing to do, but if you're not saddened by the loss of something close to you then you're a douche bag ------- or have brain damage from inbreeding or similar. IDK how close you were, but it sounds like you knew him pretty well. I can't imagine what his Mom is feeling. Well I can, but not on that scale. She left on vacation and got the phone call that every parent dreads. Then she had to make the decision to pull him off support. Good on her for doing that though because she was doing what was best for her boy without regard for her own selfish reasons. I truly feel for her.

All you dumb kids with smartass remarks can DIAF too. What a spineless thing to do. Learn some damn respect ********. How about I come pwn someone you love and see if you laugh then you ******. Showing your sadness has nothing to do with being a bitch and if anyone tells you otherwise they've got it all wrong. Real men cry and aren't afraid to show their feelings, not the other way around.

RIP Justin and Cooper. We'll catch up with you when it's our time to come home.

Our roads around here have crosses on the side all over the place from where this type of thing happens Going to get some of the deer whistles today and test them out. I will be able to do it in my backyard with compressed air and post my results. Unless you live around where the critters are I don't think people understand what a problem they can be.
Here is a picture I took yesterday in my back yard.

My dogs don't even bark at deer anymore

Here they are laying down watching a couple (other one is just off camera.)

Spotted me looking at them and came a running

Deer still hanging around

We took our dogs camping and my dog seen a deer for the first time and about lost it. He didn't know WTF to think about it, but he seemed pretty upset about it. It sucked too because that was the first one we seen the entire camping trip and it was on our way out.
