If its cooked properly , its not a bad fish to eat.
Even smoked its delicious.Mind you I'm a seafood freak tho >:D

thick/long line, decent sized hook and btw even when we use worm as bait, everyone else gets the fish. I don't. lol Theres a lake right down the road from here that I used to fish at, and will more often now that we're getting a house by it... we'll see how piss poorly i do

The only hook bait I would use for fresh water is chicken livers for cats. Everything else I use spinners like the rooster tail (which is btw my favorite of all time).

deep fried catfish is the ----, never had herring. I dont think i can catch those on the west coast.
