actually, theres quite a few drag cars running the cg transmission. some honda specific machine shop makes an adapter plate specifically for the h22 to put the a1 tranny on it.

Whats CG mean?
Anyways I'm running that same transmission and it seems to be ok.. Close ratio gears is nice but 5th gear is a little too low (and i'm too lazy to do the accord gear swap) The diff blew up but I hear they are weak in most all the D series transmissions anyways. I paid 65 for the transmission, not sure about the engines worth Some people have put this combo into 88-91 civic/crx as a cheap zc alternative but for less work it'd be more at home in an older honda |

Older Honduhs weigh a fuckton less, but have lots less room in the nose.

84-87 crx hf=super duper light My buddies with full glass/metal just gutted interior with b18a1 w/ carbs w/driver was a little over 1700 pounds mid 12's all motor b18a1 back in the late 90's. Super dope. |
