Default first gen integra LS w/ d16a1, what trans? 5spd manual.

trying to find out what trans, its a running car, shifts fine, but no underbody mounts left thanks to rust.

i can get this "engine/trans for $300" is it a deal? is this transmission any good?

trans only bolts into 86-89 integra
84-87 crx with d16a1



basically if you dont have that chassis look elsewhere

Or you can try the uber-ghetto way and fab up your own custom mounts to fit into an ED/EF chassis. Did that for a friend, solid mount out of plate steel...car rattled like a **** and like to break ----. :P

That one kid on here bolt a Z6 into his 1G teg. Said that the tranny slid right on but just didn't use a couple bolts.

That is true but again the mounts like up in the 1st gen teg/1st gen crx/3rd gen civic



You have to use all the 86-89 clutch/flywheel



They are built tough I believe bisi was using the 86-89 teg trans for sometime

I use a 91 crx si tranny with the d16a1

Give $100 for the drivetrain. If the car's rusted away the drivetrain needs gone through.

its 'solid' outside of no real rear mounts left, guess it sat on grass. the front half is clean though
