Re:difference between sprung and unsprung clutches?
but after a little bit of driving on this clutch, you'll get to know how to engage and disengage without chatter.
ive been running a unsprund 4 puck in my street car for awhile now its not bad at all.

the springs act as shocks. when the clutch grabs it will use the spring to dampen the engagement. other then that it works exactly the same. you'll get more clutch feel out of an unsprung disk, but you'll be more comfortable with a sprung one.
