yea keep an eye on slickdeals..they always have great ----...i like my laptop...the price was right on it, but normally i would never buy an hp laptop

its a t1350 with half a gig of ram...for 380$ on black friday...so far its treated me well...not expecting it to be real solid, as i am required to buy a tablet pc from my college for school next fall...the bastards will not let u in unless u have one of their laptops, and the engineering program requires tablet pcs

i reeally dont think u can go wrong with ibm or sony...they are both solid companies, however their prices reflect that a lot...the best deal u will be able to find is a dell on one of the coupon discounts

the company i prefer is asus....u can check them out at proportable.com they are a very reputible company
